Follow these easy steps to get your Hoover HND 7515 Dishwasher up and running in no time.
After removing the packaging, adjust the height of the dishwasher using the adjustable feet to ensure it is level. The machine should not tilt by more than 2 degrees for optimal performance.
Plug your dishwasher into the power socket. Ensure that the plug fitted is compatible with your power supply socket. If the supplied plug does not fit, it should be cut off and destroyed for safety reasons, and an appropriate plug should be fitted.
Connect the inlet hose to a water tap with new hose-sets. The old hose-sets should not be reused to prevent leaks. Ensure there are no kinks in the inlet and outlet hoses, and that the hose is not immersed in water to avoid syphoning.
For the first use, fill the salt container completely with water. Then, add dishwasher salt until the container overflows. Clean any salt residue from the container's thread and retighten the tap. Run a complete washing cycle or a cold rinse program afterward.
Set the water softener unit according to the hardness of the water supply. This prevents whitish stains and marks on your dishes due to mineral deposits.
Use a detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. The recommended amount is 9.5 g for pre-wash and 28 g for wash. Ensure the detergent is placed in the correct compartment.
Fill the rinse aid container until it is full. This will help in reducing water spots and improving drying performance.
Ensure both spray arms are free to rotate and not obstructed by dishes. Make sure the door can close properly without obstruction.
Press the 'ON/OFF' button to power on the dishwasher. Select the desired program using the 'PROGRAMME' buttons and close the door to start the cycle.
